Monarchs, Milkweed, and More had the honor of tabling at the Wild Ones Nov. 12 Conference in Round Lake. The focus of the conference was healthy soil, with two sets of speakers from Morton Arboretum. The speakers spoke of the importance of using native plants to keep our soil healthy and the importance of healthy soil on our environment. We realized just how important our group’s work is as we handed out native seeds and information about native plants. What a worthwhile and rewarding morning it was for all our wonderful members who came out to help us!
